A perfect day for me is conceptualizing on creative ways to pursue untapped marketing opportunities, and being empowered to execute with time and resources. Starting with a blank slate with nothing but an idea or a dream? Been there. Done that, too. This is why I know I was meant to be a marketer. When working through marketing challenges, it’s second-nature for me to approach solutions through the lens of both marketer and consumer (and always with an integrated approach). Long before I became a marketer, I was always questioning why doesn’t this brand do this (or that) to make the product or experience better? I may not have known that all of this was related to marketing, but I had an eye for how things could be better—with well thought out solutions to boot.

I find joy in ideating and discovering ways to unveil the human element in the work that I do—whether for myself or for others. Personality profiles, bios, feature articles, media kits, speeches, website copy or editorial strategy. These are just a few ways that we can work together to tell your brand story in a meaningful, non-cookie cutter way. Maybe you’ve already crafted the story and just need a second set of eyes to edit for clarity or proofread for credibility. Don’t let typos be that thing that jump from the page right after you’ve already hit send and decided to review one more time. It happens. We’ve all been there.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

One of the best things that a former boss did for me was empowering me to act as his right hand in all things creative marketing. That meant I was leading, managing, directing, creating—from the logistics involved in video and photo shoot management to the eye required for proper talent/model selections and website build-outs. So let’s say you need to build a website (or your brand identity) but don’t have time to strategize on the look and feel, the who and the what. As your marketing consultant/special projects manager, I’ll collaborate with a team of professional creatives—making sure that all the little pieces work seamlessly so that you can focus on your big-picture goals…then sit back and enjoy the final product.

Once we’ve committed to working together, here’s what you can expect from my process—inspired by my background in the hospitality industry.

PRE-ARRIVAL

Prep work…
Before we officially get started, I’ll need to take a deeper dive into your challenge. I’ll ask you to complete a Marketing Questionnaire to help inform the strategy (and visual identity work ahead, if applicable).

WELCOME

Strategy Session
We’ll meet for a 60-minute strategy session. By the time we virtually hang up, my fab Designer and I will have the inspiration needed to prioritize and begin planning our next steps. I’ll email you an estimated project timeline following the session.

CHECK-IN

This is what you’ve been waiting for.
For your review and feedback, a short Creative Brief + Curated Mood Board will be delivered so that we can align on the vibe and you can feel good about the overall direction we’re headed visually or strategically for your customized marketing / branding project.

CHECK-OUT

At this stage, we’re ready to hand the project off, but not before ensuring that you fully understand how to execute on the plan and/or use your newly created assets on-brand at every touchpoint.
